I feel bad posting about my good news today. My sister and her family have received some heartbreaking news, they lost their unborn baby, Griffin this week. We are so sorry for them and I hope my news doesn't come across as inconsiderate or heartless. We love you all so much.
My appointment was very short today, but the doctor had more positive news. Everything looks good, my cervix is holding up and the baby is growing like she should. Dr. Wheeler says "It looks like we will get a baby out of this!"
Dr. Wheeler wants to send me to Indianapolis the end of this month so they can look at the baby down there, and decide where they want me to deliver. My guess is they want to look at her heart and see how extensive a surgery she will need. I think the choices are to deliver in Indianapolis or somewhere closer to home (maybe Lutheran hospital?). They just want her in the hospital where they will perform the surgery to make things go smoother.
Still getting weekly shots, which he plans to continue because they are doing what they should.
I get more reassurance each time I go to the doctor and am beginning to feel confident that we can make it through this. Thank you for your continued prayers and ask that you keep my sister and family in your prayers as well.
